Software Developer-, Innovation-, Psychology-, Law-, Finance and Design Interns to Nordea Student Innovation Team in Stockholm

Are you a student in Software Development-, Innovation-, Psychology-, Law-, Finance and/or Design, dreaming about perusing a career within entrepreneurship, finance, innovation and/or financial technologies?

We are now expanding our Student Innovation Team in Digital Wealth and have opened up for another 10 interns to come and join for a full- or part-time, internship starting 1st of October 2019.

We prefer if you are on your 4th or 5th year of your studies, however, previously we have taken in members on their 3rd year as well

Our Student Innovation Team is a fun and playful context where students can come into Nordea premises and co-develop new concepts and ideas related to Savings, Investments, Retirement and/or product features and services. Many of our previously developed concepts and ideas has been used as inspiration and a departure point for new products and services in Nordea . We are a social team and like to have fun both in and outside the office. If you like computer games, sailing, going out, squash or bowling you are most likely to fit into our big family.

Today, we are a team of 20+ students and have competences ranging from User Experience/User Interaction to Software Engineering and Applied Mathematics.

Our team is all about learning and experimenting, bridging our cross academic disciplines together in order to innovate and experiment in a fun and exciting way.  We consider ourselves to be a little bit as a start-up or student consultancy within the bank. We both drive our own product and service innovation/development and help other units with various tasks when needed. For the right candidate this is a great opportunity whereyou will get to know Nordea as an employer and get a chance to build a network in the largest bank in northern Europe. Many of our previous interns have been offered full time employments in Nordea both before and after graduation.

If you are looking for a fun environment to write a master thesis we welcome your application as well and we will try to find a good topic that works for your requirements.

The internship is based in Stockholm in our HQ at Kungsträdgården.

Your profile and background:

• Law student interested in finance and law – seeing possibilities instead of challenges
• Psychology student interested in behavioural finance and/or other related topics
• You could be a social person with drive and a true passion for developing exciting and creative solutions
• Front End-Development in modern web framework (react, angular and so on.)
• Middleware (databases, integrations to APIs) and application development for Android and iOS (Java, Swift)
• Design, architect, test and implementation of game features
• Deliver high quality and well-structured code and design/UI/UX
