We are looking for a Reporting Specialist to join our GRC COO Group Risk Reporting team. This is a great opportunity for you to work in a prioritised area in Nordea and to take a key role in the next phase of developing our reporting capabilities and to further improve our processes and management information to senior management and the Nordea Board. We will offer you a unique position to be involved in high-priority deliveries and development activities and build a network with key stakeholders in Nordea.
Your future responsibilities

You’ll join the GRC COO Group Risk Reporting team within Group Risk and Compliance, where we work together to produce holistic risk reporting to senior management and the Nordea Board. The Group Risk Reporting team is responsible for Group Risk Reporting covering all risk types Nordea is exposed to including reporting on Risk Appetite and independent reporting on Compliance Risks. You’ll be part of a high performing team, working with optimising our processes and to give proactive support to our stakeholders.

What you'll be working with:

  • Involved in the regular production of holistic risk reports containing key management information
  • Developing and strengthening the analytical content and quantitative measures in our reporting to support decision makers
  • Further develop and drive process optimisation in risk reporting, risk identification and assessment processes ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries to our stakeholders
  • Ensuring strong governance for the risk reporting including aligning to the Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting (RDARR) principles
  • There will also be opportunities to be involved in interesting development projects both within the reporting area and more widely, within Group Risk and Compliance and the Nordea Group

The GRC COO Group Risk Reporting is a Nordic team and we currently have colleagues in Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen. The role can be based in any of the Nordic capitals or Poland.

Your profile and background:

  • You have an analytical and creative mind-set, together with excellent communication skills
  • You take ownership and have a strong drive to deliver on tasks and presentations with high quality
  • You have an interest in process optimisation and strong stakeholder management skills supporting your ability to drive the production of reports within tight deadlines
  • You have focus on quality and the ability to be both detailed as well as to see the bigger picture with regards to deliveries
  • You are solution-oriented and have a proactive approach in presenting solutions and improvements

Qualifications required:

  • You have + 5 years’ experience of Compliance, Audit, Risk Management or as a Consultant within the Financial sector
  • You have a University Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Prior experience from reporting, cross-border projects, process management or change management in an international organisation is meriting
