First line manager - Autonomous Function Test i Sodertalje

ATS Product Management & Verification is a Section within Autonomous Systems Department. Our mission is to Lead and Quality Assure Deliveries for Autonomous Systems.

We are now looking for a manager, responsible for “Autonomous Function Test”. This group is responsible for testing of complete solution of autonomous systems both in simulation environment and in real vehicle. Complete solutions means “End to End test” communication between offboard, onboard and infrastructure.

Assignment

You will have a mix of tasks in terms of recruitment, competence development, coaching of employees, supporting improvement work both within the group, section and cross functionally. You also support the teams in their collaboration with other teams as well as other key stakeholders within and outside of the department.

You will work closely with the other managers within the department, as well as contribute to the section management team work such as strategical planning and organization development.

Examples of the group’s responsibilities:

Simulation and vehicle testing:

• Perform testing of complete solution
• Require right functionality of the simulation environment to the simulation development team
• Develop test case scenario
• Perform onsite acceptance test together with customerProcess & Method
•  
• Develop test strategy for autonomous vehicle
• Develop and perform “Safety Driver Course”
• Roadmap for future development and requirement of our internal test track and external test track

Your profile

You are a natural and proven leader with strong management and servant leadership skills and you want to develop your leadership continuously. You have a lot of enthusiasm and you have the ability to see people and their possibilities and to trust in others. To succeed in this position you need to be strong in building teams, cross-functional work, be communicative, show drive and initiative and be energized by challenges.

We are looking for a can-do mentality combined with an analytical mindset and structured way of working. To fit the expectations of the role we think you:

• have managerial and leadership experience
• feel highly motivated by the mission and challenges within our area of responsibility
• are experienced and interested in agile development methods
• have a graduate or master’s degree in engineering or equivalentGood knowledge of Swedish and English is required. Knowledge about Scania and Scania´s methods and processes is meritorious.
