Financial Crime Business Risk Manager, Nordics i Stockholm

We are looking for a Financial Crime Risk Manager to advise and support in understanding the respective risks. This is an opportunity for you to participate and interact with business stakeholders, in any of the business areas, with all the financial crime related matters.

You’ll join Group Financial Crime Prevention where we in Financial Crime Risk Management ensure a robust and high-quality Financial Crime Risk management and reduce the risk for the Group with sophisticated methods and tools. 

You will be helping business area management in mitigating their financial crime risks by: 

• Formulating financial crime risk strategies 
• Participating and helping decision-makers in understanding consequences of decisions 
• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders with all financial crime risk related matters 
• Managing, controlling and sharing an overview on financial crime risk in general to ensure adequate and proactive risk management
• Increasing risk awareness by ensuring management and employees to have the relevant risk understanding and also guiding the Business Areas in applying the Nordea financial crime risk requirements
• Identifying and analysing financial crime risks and have an overview of the risk in question also proposing mitigating actions and controls based on the respective risk assessments
• Ensuring a solid and transparent reporting and management oversight

Your profile and background: 

• Significant experience within the financial crime risk management
• Expert on stakeholder management with ability to establish relationships, create trust and contacts on all levels of an organization, presumable with an existing wide network
• Previous experience of working in projects
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience working with regulatory requirements and practices around business risk management (implementation of processes to meet new legislation requirements and knowledge of multiple regulatory jurisdictions are considered assets)
• Relevant working experience of 5-10 years
• Educational background is a University degree or equivalent experience (Relevant certification such as ICA, ACAMS or related qualifications will be an advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of English
