Are you a driven, passionate and results-focused Senior Software Engineer that want to join us in our journey to become Scandinavias leading digital Insurance provider? 

RSA Scandinavia is now looking for an experienced .NET specialist for our Development support team. Our office is in a historic building in central Malmö, close to the train station. 

What we do 
The RSA Development support team is turned to for experience and knowledge. We review technical designs and code and help our teams deliver high quality solutions. We help our teams achieve best practices for software design, development, quality and automated testing.  

Are you our new colleague? 
We expect you to be a highly skilled and experienced software developer, having previously worked as a lead developer with deep architectural knowledge. You are comfortable analyzing technical designs, reviewing code and making software design decisions. Your good understanding of the fine balance between the need for quality and the need for delivery helps you when interacting with developers and stakeholders.  

As the leading source for innovation and modernization of the way we write and implement code, we would like you to be outgoing, outspoken and in general enjoying the role of “evangelist” spreading the good word of quality. 

Your responsibilities 
You will act as the link between current developments and the high-level roadmap as outlined in the RSA IT strategy. Your role is flexible, ranging from being allocated as a Solution Architect in strategic projects to guiding and supporting teams of developers by implementing and enforcing coding standards and sound architecture. You will be a gatekeeper of overall software quality, always considering non-functional requirements such as maintainability, testability and solution performance over time.  

Your skills and knowledge 

• Clean code, SOLID principles, unit testing, Domain-Driven Design etc. 
• Solution architect 
• Min. 5 years’ experience within .Net / C# development 

• Experience in developing cloud-based service-oriented systems (SOA, Microservices, …) 
• Experienced in Continuous Delivery and the full lifecycle of IT Projects and Application Maintenance
