Currently the H&M brand has around 4500 stores in 72 markets and our ambition is provide our customers with a modern, relevant and unique customer experience when they visit us. If you want to be part of this journey, we are now looking for a Project Manager to join us in the Retail Space team.
About Retail Space
Retail Space is a new organization launched by the H&M brand to own and drive the transformation of our physical stores. The function covers areas from Retail strategy, Format Development & Piloting to Space Management and execution of set strategies. The work is done I close collaboration with many other functions with the H&M Brand and Group.
The Mission
As a Project Manager at Retail Space, you are a crucial part of the Format Development team.
You will be responsible for the development of a specific store format by leading a cross functional team addressing multiple areas; from assortment to presentation as well as interior, staff and services meeting the OMNI shift within retail. You will work with many different aspects of our core business to meet our future customer needs enabling H&M to take our stores to the next level. The Retail Space team work in a pure cross functional manner so you will work in collaboration with many other functions and stakeholders to be successful.
As Project Manager Retail Space, you will:
- Take ownership and drive the development for H&M future store formats
- Lead cross functional teams covering all aspects/ dimensions included in the format development
- Secure format outcome in line with H&M brand strategies supporting the long-term plan for the transformation of our physical stores
- Manage tests within set budgets and time lines
- Work in close collaboration with test markets and format piloting team
To be a successful Project Manager Retail Space we believe you:
- Have several years of experience within management positions and leading people
- Experience from both driving development and working with physical retail
- Have a proven track record from leading successful cross functional international teams covering multiple areas at the same time
- Have a drive/interest to challenge status quo and find new ways of working
- Are self-driven and take own initiatives
- Are a highly skilled communicator and have an ability to build relationships in an entrepreneurial setting
- Have a strategic approach and strong executing skills
- And have a learning approach, interested in understanding and experiencing new areas of our company
As a Project Manager Retail Space you will report to Head of Retail Space for H&M brand and be located at the Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden.
