We are looking for a commercially minded individual who can lead the implementation of Deal Management within our portfolio of Transaction Banking Solutions products.

This is an opportunity for you to create and implement pricing models and strategies in close collaboration with stakeholders to maximise profitability and stimulate growth in this area of Nordea.

About this opportunity

Welcome to TxB Solutions which is a unit within Transaction Banking. It is our overall aim to identify future trends and future customer needs related to Cash Management Solutions and take commercial product ownership of the product portfolio globally.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Set and implement pricing and billing governance and a deal desk function
  • Set and implement pricing models and strategies across fee and net interest income for products and propositions in the Transaction Banking portfolio, considering segment and industry
  • Work in close collaboration with stakeholders in areas such as Product Management, Sales, Treasury, Finance and Credit risk to determine competitive pricing of cash management deals
  • Ensure relevant analytics and tools are in place to enable Product Managers to manage the P&L of product lines and value propositions
  • Educate colleagues across the value chain on our pricing models and drive a culture of commerciality
  • Ensure trends are tracked and identify opportunities, provide thought leadership on pricing methods and support management in strategic planning exercises including annual budget planning

You’ll build the Deal Management team which will be established as a Nordic team to secure Cash Management products are sold at the right price to deliver value for customers and income for Nordea. The role can be based in any of the Nordic capitals.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you live up to the following:

  • Strong experience in the cash management area and background with financial analysis.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution.
  • Analytical skills with ability to research (internally/externally) and document.

Your experience and background:  

  • Strong preference for candidate with 3-5 years of experience and knowledge of Cash Management products and pricing, specifically transactions and deposits.
  • Strategic mindset
  • Commercially focused
  • Ability to drive change
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
