Financial Risk is, among other things, Swedbank's function for independent control of market and counterparty risks. Currently this is driven through a transformation program that will implement an integrated risk system and processes for counterparty credit risk and market risk. In addition, the team is responsible for maintenance of current solutions within the area.

As an APO you will be responsible for the requirements in our backlog and for maximizing the value of the work of the cross functional team. You will work directly with business stakeholders, collect and prioritize requirements in the Product Backlog.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining and communicating the product vision and articulate the backlog items together with key business stakeholders
  • Prioritizing and managing the Product Backlog – keeping the best balance between new functionality, maintenance, life cycle, regulatory etc.
  • Coordinating dependencies with other teams inside and outside of the Financial Risk Investment area
  • Securing delivery of appropriate and reliable services throughout the life-cycle
  • Ensuring that our service solutions are aligned with Swedbank´s future vision
  • Ensuring proper problem, incident and change management in our production services
  • In the role as an APO will be part of a cross-functional team where the team is responsible to deliver functionality in several different systems. You will be involved in building new systems, but also running daily maintenance on already existing Market & Counterparty Credit Risk services.

What you need to succeed

As an ideal candidate you are:

  • Proficient in our business domain - Market & Counterparty Credit Risk
  • Self-driven, pro-active and curious
  • Analytical and have good problem-solving skills
  • Daring to lead change in an agile environment
  • Great team player and you have a structured way of working
  • Enjoying coaching other team members and have a supporting mindset
  • Having good stakeholder management skills
  • Experienced in agile way of working (knowledge of SAFe is an advantage)
  • Proficient in oral and written English with excellent communication skills
  • University degree in economics, engineering or science
