Are you up for a new challenge? We are now looking for a Packaging Engineer to Division Solutions! 

About the position
As a Packaging Engineer at BillerudKorsnäs, you will work closely with our Packaging Designers, Sales, Project Management and Implementation, to ensure packaging development meets client and internal requirements. Effectively apply your knowledge of packaging engineering and material science to guide material selection and packaging testing. You will participate in the development of equipment, methods, routines and research projects within our global Engineering team. Special focus is given to engineering solutions that are manufacturable by our global production network.

The position’s main tasks and responsibilities:

The position is located at our production unit in Gruvön, Grums. You will report to the Manager, Packaging Design & Engineering.

Job qualifications
To be an interesting candidate for this position you must have a Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or related field. You have at least 3 years’ experience in the field of in packaging engineering. You have experience working with corrugated plant managers, machine operators, fulfillment agents, or other packaging stakeholders/end users. Finally, you have strong communication skills in both English and Swedish.

Our candidate has a commercial mind set as well as a self-motivating and driven personality. To succeed, you also need to be innovative, creative and have good communication skills. Finally you are structured with a good analytical ability.
