Technical Support Engineer i Västerås

You will be part of the service organization for ABB Grid Automation Products, in Västerås. We provide service to the global installed base of high voltage protective relays and control devices, as well as associated tools and system equipment. • Technically supporting our local service units and external customers as well as our own organization
• Warranty handling for the factory product, conducting technical investigations and root cause analyses
• Making sure that all cases/projects are well handled in a professional way
• Managing tasks in a common database
• Being part of a technical support team at the Global Technical Support Center in Västerås
• Close cooperation with sister engineering/development units in other countries
• Building relations and providing great customer service on a high technical level
• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

• A couple of years of experience from a similar role
• Background in Substation Automation and commissioning is meriting
• Familiarity with the IEC 61850 standard is a plus
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• A team player who constantly look for opportunities to improve and to find better ways to serve our customers
• Ability to contribute to positive work environment
• High focus on customers and their needs
