Strategic buyer for Indirect & IT Procurement i Stockholm

We are looking for a Strategic buyer for our RSA Scandinavia Indirect & IT sourcing team covering Trygg-Hansa, Codan DK and Codan NO.

The team is responsible for category management, strategic sourcing and supplier development programs related to all areas within Indirect & IT. Scope stretches from highly complex IT projects to setting up category strategies in close cooperation with key stakeholders.

Through clear and well-established processes, consistency and professionalism the sourcing team plays a key role in continuously developing and optimizing the Indirect & IT area within Trygg-Hansa and Codan.

You will as a Strategic buyer drive and participate in major Sourcing, outsourcing and SRM activities, with focus on minimizing our costs, mitigating risk, optimizing processes. At the same time enhancing the quality of services delivered by our suppliers to our organization in alignment with our pre-defined category strategies and business stakeholder’s priorities.

The position will require that you build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams and use your skills to influence supplier relationships and utilize your effective negotiation and influencing skills to maximize the value in supplier contracts.

As this is a Nordic position there will be a limited requirement to travel within Scandinavia. You will be based in our office in Stockholm but expected to have some travel to Copenhagen and Oslo.  
 

Responsibilities

• Drive E2E sourcing activities in close cooperation with Internal stakeholders including Information SEC and Legal.
• Work closely with Sourcing managers to perform category management and execute strategic initiatives to deliver results from projects and current cost base. 
• Follow-up, report and secure needed actions per sub-category to support delivery of savings according to best practice saving levels. 
• Create a cross-functional understanding and commitment to the category strategy and establish effective category communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Actively support growth and ensure success of strategic deals.
• Promote and contribute to the learning organization and the development of RSA Supply Chain to ensure implementation of best practice across the sourcing organization

Personal and professional qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferably within a regulated industry
• Strong negotiation skills and legal knowledge in contract creation and management
• Strong people, business, and strategic skills 
• Structured and a doer who like to deliver towards goals
• Have the capacity to independently drive projects with multiple stakeholders and have the ability to plan, prioritize and drive projects
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in at least one Nordic language and professional command of English                            
• Team player and curious by nature
• University degree, MSc or similar preferably with a focus on purchasing or other academic qualifications / experience relevant to the service
