As Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be part of Process Control Platform within Industrial Automation.

Process Control Platform is a business line within ABB’s business Industrial Automation. We are responsible for development, marketing and sales of automation products, both hardware and software for monitoring, control and optimization. We sell and deliver automation systems to all types of process industries. With the 800xA system we offer unique opportunities to synchronize data from the manufacturing process with additional information systems and enable all decision information available in real-time to our customers. The portfolio both contains new technology with modern constructions as well as products dated 40 years back where maintenance and system update are necessary.

• Your role will be crucial in a team of 15 experienced and engaged co-workers.
• Along with your colleagues you will work within digital and analogue electronics, FPGA/VHDL design and mechanics.
• Your responsibilities will include development of new products, maintenance of existing products as well as customer support. This contains technical product portfolio responsibility, coaching of co-workers in troubleshooting and design.
• Another important part of the responsibilities is to get into a role as a hardware architect within the team.
• You will have a lot of internal and external contacts with for example suppliers and this gives you great opportunities to broaden your network as well as to further deepen your skills.

• You hold a post-secondary education and have at least ten years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Experience from work with Electronics Manufacturing Services is advantageous.
• Since you will be part of a global business, you need to be fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike.
• As a person you need to have strong drive, the ability to make decisions and having a positive attitude.
• You are also a good communicator with planning and organizational skills as well as a will to propose and implement solutions.
• Furthermore, you are an excellent team player that delivers timely and in an efficient manner.
