Regulatory Expert Credit Risk i Sundbyberg

As regulatory expert in Group Credit Risk you are responsible to analyse credit risk matters throughout the Group and work on regulatory issues within the credit area. This includes second line control of compliance in relation to external and internal regulations, to analyse and challenge in credit matters, to follow up within the Regulatory Watch process and also to support Heads of risk in the business areas and the risk officers with knowledge and competence in the credit area.

Main responsibilities include;

• Provide regulatory advice, guidance and support to colleagues within Group Risk as well as business, projects etc., within the credit area
• Coordinate, maintain and develop internal steering documents and supporting material for Credit Risk
• Identify, assess and secure Group Risk implementation of new external credit regulations on Swedish and European level, incl. to develop processes and routines
• Challenge and perform independent assessment in the credit area, i.e. in relation to first line of defense
  
  

The work is performed in cooperation with other units within Group Risk and other Group Functions, but also within the business, so the readiness to communicate and cooperate will prove essential to your success.

You also need to:

• Be motivated by own responsibilities and by taking on own initiatives
• Have a structured and thorough way of working
• Be proficient in both written and spoken English and Swedish
• Good understanding of the internal governance in Swedbank Group
• Knowledge of financial industry regulatory requirements or regulatory requirements within the credit area
• Be experienced in deliveries with tight deadlines
  
  

University degree in economy, law or science is desirable.

To succeed in the role you probably have worked within Risk, Legal or Compliance or in another role which included work on steering and control on the credit side.

Within Group Credit Risk you will develop a deep understanding of Swedbank and all business areas. This skill can be applied within many areas and roles in the bank, both in other units within Group Risk and in various roles in the business areas.

The role has its organisational belonging in Credit Portfolio & Sector Analysis and you will have 10 colleagues with long experience in the credit area. We apply our joint knowledge in creating relevant, efficient and innovative research-driven products to be used within Group Risk and Senior Management.
