Your responsibilities
  • Within our global business, you will be part of a Lean Agile development team of skilled engineers, managing the numerous functionalities in the Motion Control area.
  • The main focus in the beginning will be in mechanical integration and tuning of our new robots.
  • As you grow into the role, learning our control system, you will be apart of developing advanced Motion Control functionality taking us to the next level.
  • Within the area of Motion Control, you will design and implement software features as well as interact with associated engineering disciplines in our mechanic and electronics departments.
  • The role also gives you the chance to participate throughout the whole process - from customer demand to test and verification.
  • Which involves spending time both in our lab and sometimes at our customers’ sites all over the world.
Your background
  • As our new Motion Control Software Developer, you need to be innovative and creative with a Master’s degree, probably specialized in Automatic Control or Mechatronics.
  • You are familiar with C/C++, Maple and Matlab, or other equivalent programs for mathematical calculations and simulations.
  • Experience from working with real time systems and kinematic/dynamic modelling of industrial robots is qualifying.
  • To thrive in this role, it is important that you are customer-focused and contribute with your systematic thinking as well as ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Given the nature of this role, fluency in English is a must and Swedish are qualifying.
