Production Development Manager i Ludvika

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Please find out more about our world leading technology at . You will lead a team within the Power Grids division in Ludvika in the execution of production development processes.

• Driving efficient and cost-effective production results to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets, through the coordination and management of personnel and production processes.
• Holding responsible for production development and maintenance.
• Implementing new machines, tools and manufacturing excellence.
• Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance, while collaborating with continuous improvement teams to integrate lean manufacturing
• principles into production processes.
• Driving R&D assembly team and making sure HVDC factory is in the best shape for ongoing projects and future challenges, also filling in the gaps when needed for former and readiness to take on future challenges with new products.
• Taking responsibility for the whole team, seeing other ways and giving ideas and also guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their own potential.

• You have manufacturing and driving improvement initiatives, automation and/or logistics experience.
• Experience from other factories and systems/ production development, is a benefit.
• You have demonstrated leadership capabilities, with ownership of quality and accountability, solutions-oriented approach and enhance good communication skills.
• As a person you are calm, structured and reliable.
• You have genuine technical interest and are always open to develop your skills.
• Knowledge of Swedish and English, both oral and written, is a must.
• You are positive to travel, including ready to travel twice a year to our other factories (India and China).
