As "Labour Law and Industrial Relations Expert" in ABB, you will be jointly responsible for the handling of all individual labour law matters and collective labour law projects. You will deal with the "day-to-day business" general labour law enquiries of HR Business partners, shared services units as well as executives, coordinate litigation with external legal experts for all ABB locations in Sweden and support the preparation and im-plementation of collective bargaining issues. You work out answers and solutions in close cooperation with the business. In addition, you will teamwork within the global as well as the Hub-Structure in transnational projects.

The position offers the opportunity to quickly establish a largely independent field of work and to make a significant contribution.

Your responsibilities
  • Ensuring the responsive service "Labour Law Advice", both individual and collective, also directly on sites in Sweden. Cares as well for social security law (e.g. rehab, health)
  • Preparation and management of out-of-court and procedural correspondence and related support for HR functions and business.
  • Developing and conducting labour law and labour relations educations for managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Responsibility for labour law and labour relations instructions on a national level.
  • Representing ABB within employers´ associations and different work groups within ABB as well as exter-nally.
  • Managing the administration of employees´ representations (such as Union Office) and representing ABB vs employees´ representations.
  • Support in cross-border/global projects in labour law and collective law/labour relations
  • Support in M&A activities as well as in restructuring.
  • Teamwork in global labour relations GBS.

Your background
  • As a fully qualified lawyer, in the last 3 years you have ideally gained solid professional experience in em-ployment law in an employer association or company and have keen knowledge of employment law, both individual and collective law.
  • In addition, you bring a good portion of pragmatism, decisiveness and willingness to develop solutions, and proven economic skills.
  • You are proven in dealing with HR colleagues and executives. You have a strong record in negotiations with employees´ representations
  • Your way of working is characterized by a clear service orientation and a high degree of independence, so that you can drive your tasks and projects forward quickly and on your own responsibility.
  • Your high commitment, resilience and flexibility will help you to develop solutions even for challenging topics and time bottlenecks.
  • You can communicate in Swedish with absolute confidence, both orally and in writing, and have a good level of English.
