Are you looking for a new challenge in an exciting, high tech environment? Join ABB as an Internal Training Manager in the Power Grids division and work in a team that is dedicated to creating a future, where innovative digital technologies bring cleaner energy to more people.

You will be part of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), a business unit within ABB’s Power Grids division located in Ludvika/Västerås. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect
power systems.

• Strategic Planning – leading and planning training related activities to ensure sustainable training solutions and strategies.
• Planning, developing, executing and supervising ongoing internal training activities.
• Training development in collaboration with Competence management.
• Leading/coaching and Inspiring your team and other contributors to deliver with high quality.
• Actively shaping the internal training portfolio, based on identified need within the organization.
• Assessing the impact of training programs and courses to develop and implement improved processes.
• Staying up to date and taking interest in different learning techniques and digital tools – Interface with Competence Management.
• Cooperating with external training providers/vendors.
• Overseeing the quality of internal and external training courses.
• Ensuring that training programs/courses are business relevant and updated with focus on continuous improvement and look for better ways to develop trainings.
• Measuring learning effectiveness based on information from surveys and feedback.

• At least a high school degree and 3 years of working experience. University degree is an advantage.
• Being a team player who likes to collaborate with colleagues as we put great weight in your personality.
• You will need to communicate and promote ongoing training activities effectively and with transparency and therefore strong communication skills are needed.
• Experience of working in a training/learning organization.
• Computer skills, preferably Office365 and LMS.
• Experience in e-learning creation is an advantage.
• Accuracy, communication skills, being organized and flexible.
• You have insight to be able to see the “bigger picture”.
• Readiness to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Since you will be interacting with our global offices around the world English is a must, written and spoken alike. Good skills in Swedish is an advantage, other languages are considered as additional qualifications.
