We develop, manufacture and sell electrical motors with focus on rail applications. This position will provide you with many opportunities and interesting challenges on both local and global level.

• Working in two teams - engineer to order and global technical support team.
• Designing tailor-made traction motors that meet and fulfill customer demands.
• Working closely with project teams in deliver of projects and technical documents.
• Interacting and working in contact with both global customers and other ABB entities.

• A university degree in Engineering, specializing in Product Development or Mechanical Design.
• 3 years or more experience from a similar role and/or previous experience from designing rotating electrical machines or vehicle industry, work as a benefit.
• Insights in manufacturing methodology to create cost-effective designs that meet customers’ requirements.
• General technical understanding and interest in the field with good knowledge of mechanical design utilizing modern 3D tool.
• Experience from projects and knowledge of CAD, SolidWorks, is meritorious.
• High level of cooperation skills with different people and cultures.
• Being result-oriented and able to deliver agreed results on time.
• As working in a global multicultural environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish is preferred.
