Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania Purchasing Commodity IT and Services, SAI, is a team of 11 people who are working with and are responsible for purchasing activities for Scania´s demand IT (Hardware, Software, Licenses) and Services includes buying Consultants and result oriented Projects.
We are currently looking for an Buyer/Sourcing manager and/or broad experience from It or Services to our team situated in Södertälje/Sweden.

Job description
The main objective will be to secure our IT and Services needs and reduce cost for complete segment turnover given that the quality, sustainability and delivery targets are met in close and in good corporation with our internal customers.

You will lead supplier negotiations, present results in decision boards and conclude commercial agreements in order to create the best value for Scania. Close cooperation with MAN (Munich) and Volkswagen (Wolfsburg) and active participation in the different internal customers groups/organizations is necessary to reach best results and secure the needs and demands for the segment and for Scania.
  
Your profile
To excel in this position you should be a team player with natural leadership skills. You are positive, communicative and have a pedagogic, creative and proactive approach to issues and tasks.

You are commercially driven, solution oriented and comfortable in presenting business cases in top management decision meetings.
You should also like to work independently and have great social skills with the ability to develop and maintain a broad network of supplier contacts as well as interfaces within Scania and the Volkswagen group.
