The Global Expansion department is responsible for all current and future stores in the H&M Group world-wide (5000+ Stores). The Expansion team drives all aspects of creating our H&M stores, i.e. to lease, design, draw, buy, and build each store.
The NCGP function is responsible for buying all non-commercial goods for the H&M store. This includes tables, floors, lights, visual and marketing material etc. The function manages purchasing for several hundred store projects every year. We are now looking to further strengthen our team by adding an ambitious and service minded Purchase Coordinator to our Operational Purchasing team!
As a Purchase Coordinator you will be responsible for securing order placements. You will work in a broad network towards stakeholders both within the H&M head office, towards the Sales country organizations as well as suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
- Place orders for projects according to set time plan
- Coordinate activities within the projects you will participate in
- Plan and prioritize coming projects
- Identify and drive improvement initiatives to improve way of working within operational purchasing
Education & Experience
- Either experience from a similar work-role (with handling administrative tasks and business systems while also navigating in a complex organization) or a degree within business or purchasing
- Experience from working in Microsoft Office package
