About the role

As a tech lead you’ll join Way at the beginning of a very exciting journey. A key enabler for the success and growth of Way’s business is a high quality tech platform which you will play a key part in bringing to life. You will architect and build the backend systems that power our application and continuously improve the system scalability as we grow. 

If you’re excited about our journey and highly committed and engaged to your work I'd say you’re the one. If you’re also experienced in payments, e-commerce and point-of-sale systems its a big plus.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to identify and solve challenging problems and create awesome user experiences

• Design, develop and deploy backend services that are highly available, and easy to extend

Who you are

• You have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms

• You are passionate about contributing your knowledge and skills into a great product that will have a big impact on society

• You are an experienced software developer with several years of development and experience in modern Javascript coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques.

• You bring your whole self to work and strive to foster a great environment
