Cable distribution cabinets is a product group within ABB’s Electrification Business Unit that
develops, promotes and sells enclosures, fusegears and cable connectors which are a vital part of the low voltage distribution network. The products are mainly sold via wholesalers and OEMs in the Nordic countries, primarily to utilities, industrial and commercial building companies via ABB local sales organizations.

You will be a key player to take the organization to the next level by combining continuous improvements and problem solving in projects as well as ongoing daily running production. The position is a part of the Quality and Continuous Improvement team.

• Accountable for that production processes complies with internal and external requirements.
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction.
• Evaluate manufacturability of existing and new products.
• Accountable for appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials in support of production targets.
• Identify, recommend and implement improvement opportunities.
• Drive and support practical problem solving in daily production to improve safety, quality and cost aspects.
• Live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• A bachelor´s or master's degree in engineering.
• >3 years experience in production or industrial engineering, whereas other industrial experience is also beneficial.
• Experience in digitalization and automation is highly qualifying.
• Knowledge in SAP, PTC Windchill, CAD is desirable but not a requirement.
• You have a problem-solving oriented and structured mindset.
• You are a true team player.
• Collaborative and strong communication skills, as projects and problem solving will be handled cross-functional in the organization.
• Strong commitment to contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
