Do you want to help a young social startup become the hot new social platform of 2020? Do you love to communicate, are passionate about creating new connections, and want to collaborate with an entrepreneurial-minded team? Then we are looking for YOU! Panion is a social platform that helps you make like-minded friends wherever you go. Simply tag your profile with keyword interests, values, and experiences and see common interests with everyone in your area.
As our Communications intern you will work to expand and engage our user base across various social media channels and through digital outreach such as newsletters, emails and push notifications. You will also work closely with the marketing team to design and execute creative campaigns that promote our tool.
Some of your tasks will include:
Social media content writing and posting, running campaigns and contests.
Writing digital outreach, such as newsletters, emails, push notifications etc., using deep links to track their impact.
Partnering with influencers and bloggers.
Assuring everything gets published on time and with the utmost quality and attention to detail.
Finding upcoming festivals and events that want to be seen in our app and will promote our tool.
Supporting our marketing team in running paid marketing campaigns on social platforms and in the app stores.
You should ...
Be able to learn and match our brand voice to make sure it stays consistent throughout all communications.
Be a great communicator both in written English as well as in the ability to collaborate with the team.
Set realistic expectations, and communicate updates to necessary parties as tasks change.
Be someone who ALWAYS takes initiative, problem solves independently, and learns from doing.
Care about our mission of trying to improve integration and solve the loneliness crisis.
Understand and believe in the values of our company and bring a positive impact to our culture. At Panion, we are about promoting and celebrating our differences, both within our company and in the message we send to our customers.
Be able to handle deadlines and stressful situations. This is a startup! You should be fast on your toes and able to improvise when life throws you a curveball.
Go above and beyond with everything you do and bring new ideas to the table.
Be open to occasionally working on weekends for a mission you believe in (#startuplife)
Be someone who wants to prove that Panion can't function without them, i.e. wants this to turn into a full-time job.
Necessities:
Speak and write fluently and eloquently in English, other languages (eg. Swedish) are a plus but not required.
You must have your own functional computer that can support the tasks listed above.
