Who we are

This Director level role is a part of CoE, but reports to head of Global Facility Management & Engineering (Real Estate & Building Offices) where you will drive the Global FM process Deliver FM engineering and projects.

You would be appointed as a process owner for Global FM process deliver FM engineering and have Global lead in development of the process, way of working and connected standards to ensure planned maintenance are optimised globally.

What you'll do

You will drive improvements of Global FM process deliver FM engineering and projects and way of working and standards belonging to it. You will also manage support Global FM Engineering strategies and are part of the relevant working groups within Global FM. You will analyse trends and technics within Facility Management Engineering as well as global financial control of all global projects. You will be working with KPI and maintaining records for all work, updated systems data and legal requirements. This roles collaborate with customers and FM Regional/Sites to understand needs and requirements and translate these into affordable solutions and standards. You would secure good networking with global Engineering SME network to secure ideal state. You will provide risk management tools and networking and be supportive in large FM building project globally.

Your will have responsibility to drive 10 year strategic Engineering replacing plan together with Real Estate and have global financial control of all global projects. You will define processes and documentation with Global Engineering and Technical framework. You should be effective in supporting Global FM process deliver FM engineering and projects and secure and fulfil finance commitment to Volvo Cars within area of responsibilities. You will join FM global network to effectively implement solutions worldwide. 

You should work together and support other members of CoE team. 

According to Delegation of Authorities (DoA) you will manage matters of FM Engineering and be building requirements and strategies to fulfil legal demands and reach Volvo Cars objectives. 

Who you are

You should carry an University Bachelor Degree. You are results driven. You are able to build trust as be collaborative. You should have strong communication skills both written and oral. You are aware and believe in self-development.

You would bring a broad spectra within engineering; Building construction, Electric, HVAC, Security, Fire protection, Environment, Health & Safety, Energy, Land, IT, Purchase, Legal and Finance. You plans and align and have proven project management skills. You should have strong in analytic capability, incl. finance. You are resourcefulness / Business acumen in both efficiency and effectiveness. You have a strategic mind-set / development focus and be able to optimize processes. You are experienced in business requirement specification documentation. You bring leadership ability and have change Management skills. You have a high ability to take initiative and cooperate cross functional as well as the ability to develop and maintain a network. You are courageous, have good judgement and persuasive. You shoul also have applicable legal competence as well.
