The Mobile infra department at Spotify is looking for a Sr Agile Delivery Lead. You will work across our department of 20+ leaders and 70+ engineers in a fast growth environment and report directly to the technical tribe lead. We are reshaping the architecture and tooling of one of the world’s largest mobile application ecosystems and your role is to help us nurture and develop the culture, processes and organization we need to deliver impact at lightning speed with happy and passionate people
We are looking for a person who wants to turn their absolutely astonishing leadership skills into company impact by working together with organizational and technical leaders at Spotify to transform what mobile engineering means. You will also lead a small team that supports the tribe with leadership growth, communication, delivery processes, team health, program management and operational routines. You have to thrive in “controlled chaos” and enjoy navigating ambiguity. Being a coach in our setting is not only to stand on the sideline, but to be part of the game.
What you’ll do
- Own the tribe operational rhythm towards mission and Company
- Collaborate with Tribe leads, Product Managers and stakeholders to set and align delivery priorities across teams
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers to identify program dependencies, risks, impact(s) and create a transparent structure for follow up
- Facilitate tribe level planning and support teams with agile practises
- Grow a healthy, collaborative, continuously improving culture
- Manage a team who supports the tribe and teams with above mentioned needs and ambitions
Who you are
- You are knowledgeable and passionate about software product development
- You excel at facilitating, coaching, and mentoring teams and leaders towards rapidly delivering high impact, high quality software in a sustainable fashion
- You’ve proven experience running highly effective agile cross functional teams with strong focus on delivery and are having fun while doing it
- You have run big scale software projects in complex organizations
- You have a deep understanding of communication, group dynamics and coaching, and are able to help teams develop trust and safety
- You have understanding and experience with a variety of Agile approaches, including Extreme Programming, Scrum, and Kanban
You will work from our awesome office in Stockholm – we offer relocation packages if you do not currently live in Sweden.
