In the role of Category Specialist, you will support regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global category manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Orient buyers to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

• Responsibility for developing and implementing the category strategy for High Voltage Products.
• Support local units on the selection and negotiation with relevant suppliers.
• Develop an approved supplier panel and maintain an updated price database that will support the decision making and target prices formation with market intelligence.
• Take ownership to close non-conformity issues root causes and run quality improvement programs at suppliers.
• Leading supplier qualification and supplier performance evaluation.
• Developing business relationship with key suppliers.
• Perform Cost breakdown / Cost driver awareness
• Leading the contractor's claims negotiations.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or business administration.
• Good communication and networking skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Work experience in the energy segment.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a project environment.
• Technical interest and ability to solve complex problems independently.
• You are a team player, driven, structured and have a result-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and Swedish is desirable.
