HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a business unit within ABB’s Power Grids division located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.

• Be the Associate Project Manager for Optical Systems within the HVDC- and SVC-Valves applications.
• Ensure that orders and tenders are delivered to the right cost, delivery time, risks and scope.
• Work closely and communicate with our engineering, product management, purchasing and production functions.
• Continuously work on further improving our processes and quality assurance.
• Living ABB Power Grids core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• To be successful in this role we prefer that you have project management experience and/or a business- or engineering degree.
• You are a communicative person with good collaborative skills.
• You are fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
• Knowledge in Excel
