What are we looking for?

We are looking for a person who loves to roll up his/her sleeves and commit to getting the job done. Someone who is excited about taking an active part in building a cohesive culture in a remote team and is proud to be shaping the future of work. We are looking for a person who prides him/herself for being detail-oriented and precise, while capable to juggle multiple things at the same time. Someone who is flexible and understands that in a fast-moving startup a 5-year blueprint does not work. A person who can work independently, while being a good team player.

What would you do? 

• Lead and coordinate various projects related to Legal, HR and Partnerships

• Head up recruitment, refine and constantly improve the onboarding process

• Head up various contractual work

• Making sure the team is feeling well

• Set up HR-related processes and policies (e.g. pension review etc)

• Project manage product-related legal matters, such as, coordinate with legal counsel and project lead the execution. E.g. work closely with the product team to ensure our T&C and privacy policies are always followed by 100% 

• Budget and resource planning 

• Working with external stakeholder management and when needed being the point of contact with our B2B partners  

• Evaluate and in some cases manage agency relations  

• Depending on previous experience and interest, you can take on projects related to finance and/or customer success too. 

Here is what we believe you might be like 

You love being a key cornerstone in shaping the culture of our remote-first, fast-paced and fast-growing startup. You would be part of setting up a lot of processes, so we need you to be organized and be able to research and choose between best practices. You would be involved in negotiating deals, for that reason, we believe you can be firm and have previous experience in getting great deals. You have a general understanding of GDPR and you are willing to engage in legal discussions with our legal councils. You have worked in a startup environment; understand and are comfortable with things changing fast. You always strive to improve and develop your skills and can speak English and preferably also Swedish.  Being one of the first 10 hires at Teemly excites you.

Experiences & skills you bring along

• 3+ years in a role related to HR or Legal matters

• International work experience & fluency in English

• Scale-up or startup-experience

• A proven track record of setting up processes from scratch

• GDPR knowledge

• Given that our HQ is in Sweden, when working with legal matters, understanding local laws & regulations are key. Therefore it is a big plus if you speak Swedish

You will be working hand in hand with a small team in a flat hierarchy. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow within your role, and hopefully will be able to grow into a senior management role as the company grows. Teemly is at an extremely exciting phase, with a lot happening. If you join us, you join a hard-working, diverse, remote-first team, offering loads of team love & fun. If you work from Stockholm, a physical office location is included if you like. But since our product is a virtual office, physical presence is not a must, most of us have never met physically.
