Senior Systems Engineer - Systems Safety i Järfälla

Do you want to work with the development of world-class Command & Control Systems? Are you the systems engineer, dedicated to work with high technology products, who enjoys working in teams, with experience of system safety?

You will work with Systems Safety in our world class command and control systems. The systems have been developed over years and includes real high end functionality tailored for our customers. Our systems are the brain, collecting information from many different sensors, presenting the current situation for the operator. We deliver to both Swedish and international customers.

Your role will be a Systems Safety specialist and the goal is to optimize safety within the constraints of operational effectiveness. You will work in our projects, in an agile environment, together with our experienced colleagues. The role includes communication, internally as well as externally, with customers and other stakeholders.

You will handle all systems safety issues, including doing risk assessments and producing the necessary documents.

To thrive in this role, you are a self-motivated person with great communication skills.  You have proven experience as a systems engineer preferably from development projects. You are used to efficiently collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You have social skills, are creative and structured and not afraid to think new.

You should have a proactive attitude in the job and actively navigate around the organization to solve and prevent problems and challenges.

You have a bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent knowledge obtained in another way and you have long experience in the field of Systems Engineering.

Required skills:

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
• Knowledge in Systems Engineering
• Knowledge in Systems Safety
• Excellent analytical skills

If you have experience with DOORS, it is a merit. Experience of systems with real-time critical requirements with high requirements for safety and reliability is also desirable. Furthermore, knowledge of systems safety standards such as MIL-Std-882, H SystSäk, H ProgSäk 2018 is a merit.

You will be part of the C2S unit who develop command & control systems for air, naval and land domains. The team you will join consists primarily of System Engineers based in Järfälla. C2S is part of the Business Area Surveillance.
