Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement new product features from customer feedback

• Tune and optimize performance of the app, e.g. identify and fix slow-running queries, reduce server response times

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues from customer feedback

Skills & wish list

• Experience with backend/s and dynamic languages like Python, Javascript, Ruby, or similar

• Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment

• Mediocre humor (optional, it’s more what you can expect from us...)

Stack

Currently working with Python/Flask, AWS-services such as lambda, SQS, Kinesis, Postgres och Elastic Search. We like Ubuntu when we need to install an OS on a server. You don't have to be an expert on any of these, but willing to learn :) Most important is that we like working together and that you adapt to new tech fast.
