Product Manager 9LV CMS i Järfälla

We are looking for a Product Manager. In this role you will drive and expand the success of the 9LV naval combat management system, in the broad spectrum of capabilities and technologies, customers and engineers.

As Product Manager 9LV CMS you will develop and realize product plans for the 9LV CMS, support sales activities and drive the internal commitment in the assigned products to achieve commercial success and to secure our business. The roles holds the overall responsibility of all product related activities, however performed in various parts of the organization. Hence the role includes strong elements of own work, direct lead, indirect lead and coordination.

The main tasks:

• Manage the 9LV CMS product, a part of the 9LV Combat System solution
• Business plan and product plan preparation
• Realization and follow up of product decisions including R&D
• Drive innovation within the assigned products
• Business development, product definition and business case preparation
• Main requirement specification preparation
• Marketing and sales

The role requires in depth knowledge and commitment in both technology and in the customer domain (Naval C2) and you will at least master one of these areas and have a strong will to learn and act in the other. You are a confident communicator and engage in coworkers, customers and end users with ease. You possess a strong business acumen and proven leadership qualities. Your focus is on achieving success through team efforts and contribute to the overall business strategy.

You are expected to have:

• At least 10 years’ experience in applicable technology, the naval domain or both
• A Master degree in a relevant area or equivalent work experience
• Proven leadership skills
• High level of commitment and drive
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written

It is considered positively if you have:

• Previous product management experience
• Equally excellent communication skills in Swedish

You have a collaborative mind-set and you are a true team player that encourages an open, trustful and innovative climate. Your share information in a clear and easy way, both verbally and in writing and you prefer leadership rather than management.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

You will work in a team of product managers forming not just the assigned products but also the way of working, where the Business Unit is shifting from a traditional project focus to more product focus in order to manage a growing order backlog and a structured development. You will also contribute to the Project Management Team for the product program containing the 9LV CMS software production. We are working in an open office environment where Marketing & Sales and Products & Strategy are collocated. You will be based at the Saab Järfälla site where the majority of the work will be carried out. Travel to customers and our other Saab sites shall be expected.
