The Job:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Web Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.

As our Web Designer intern, you will work side by side with our creative team on the next generation of the productivity software. You will get an insight into how the SaaS industry and startups function and get a say in the creative decisions during your time with us.

What you’ll be doing:

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

• Create social media layouts, GIFs, banners and animations

• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas

• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

What ‘Skills’ do you need:

• Proven work experience as a web designer

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other visual design tools

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping

• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

• Up to date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies

• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

• Proficient in WordPress

• Good understanding of content management systems

• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles

NOTE! We would prefer if you could sit with us at the awesome startup house MINC (minc.se) in Malmö where our headquarters are, however it's not the requirement and you can work remote! There are tons of other startups here so the environment is awesome!
