Project Manager PMO Gripen Support i Linköping

We are looking for an experienced project manager to be a part of our team at Gripen Support Project Management Office (PMO). You will lead development and delivery projects focusing on support solutions for the Gripen System. You will also play a key role in developing our project office within in the competence area of project management.

You will work closely with contract managers, line managers and representatives within development, procurement and production.

Key responsibilities include:

•          Lead and deliver projects that usually span across one or more business units.
•          Monitor, report and achieve the projects financial, time and quality goals
•          Manage resource planning, schedules and financials
•          Risk and opportunity management
•          Manage communication and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
•          Report status to the Project Steering Group

We are a geographically dispersed organization, travelling is part of the job and driving license necessary. Base location Linköping – Sweden.

You are a driven people oriented leader. You work with clear goals and have the ability to motivate and inspire your team. Your background are preferable from development projects and you are used to lead through leaders like subproject managers.

You are a self-motivated, structured and a mature leader who find it easy to interact with many different stakeholders. We consider a strong leadership a key factor in project execution.

We are looking for someone:

•          With strong skills in leadership with the ability to achieve a good balance between team drive and well-being.
•          With strong ability in decision making and the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
•          With working knowledge as a head project manager, preferable within the Gripen System
•          With skills in communication
•          That speaks and writes English fluent
•          With Masters or Bachelor degree of Science in technology or economy.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

You will also be part of the Business Unit Gripen support that manages Gripen business within Support and Services and provides a focal point for customers and partners. We provide support for the Gripen System, including a range of products and services. The department Programs and Project consists of three sections with approximately 60 employees working with Contract Management, Project Management Office and Technical Management.
