Corporate FX Risk Adviser, Stockholm

Research & Risk Solutions is part of FX/Derivatives Sales & Research, a unit responsible for supporting Nordea’s corporate clients with advice, trading and research across mainly currencies and interest rates. The team provides macro research and tailored/scalable risk analysis and hedging solutions in close co-operation with our FX and derivatives sales teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Advise corporate customers on FX related risks and suggest appropriate hedging strategies
• Take lead on running and developing the team’s Swedish FX advisory offering
• A strong focus will be on expanding our business with mid-sized corporates in Business Banking, but you will also be expected to work with some of the largest corporate customers in Sweden as well as contribute to the wider development of the team’s business

You’ll join a highly dedicated and ambitious team with specialists ranging from macro research, risk advisory, derivatives structuring, event driven hedging transactions and more for our client base across corporates, municipalities, real estate and financial sponsors.

Your experience and background:

• At least 5 years of experience from advising corporate customers on FX risk
• Experience from interest rate derivatives is a plus
• Strong commercial mindset
• Good understanding of financial statements, hedge accounting, FX markets and products
• Strong technical skills and understanding of financial derivatives
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Capacity to drive and manage projects with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
• Ability to quickly connect and build trust with clients and stakeholders
