My name is Peder and I am leading the central Business Intelligence team at H&M. This is an exciting period for us. H&M is on a journey to become a truly customer-focused company. To achieve this, we need to give new analytical powers to all our commercial functions, enabling speed, relevance and a great customer experience.  This is where you come in. During the coming months a team of BI developers will take H&M’s analytical capability to the next level. If you join us, you will be working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial team close to core business, providing new powers to thousands of decision-makers across all H&M’s markets globally.

Development is a key focus in our team. Business intelligence is changing quickly just like the fashion industry. That means our shared skillset needs to change over time. If you love learning and enjoy finding new solutions to problems, you will like this team. We will be a part of the broader Customer Insights and Analytics team, a group of more than 20 data scientists and analysts driving H&M’s development in fashion analytics.

• Working closely with business stakeholders to create new data models and Power BI reports
• Share your knowledge to contribute to the H&M BI and data community
• Work with IT teams to establish a data environment that fully supports the new front-end needs

To be successful in this role, you:

• Have a genuine interest in creating business value out of data
• Are actively following the latest developments in BI tech and has the drive and knowledge to realize its potential
• Are highly experienced in working with big data and complex problems
• Are self-driven and thorough in your deliveries
• Are structured and pragmatic
• Love data as much as we do

Technical skills

• SQL
• Power BI
• Data modeling (e.g. SSAS)
• Experience in Azure Data Warehouse, R/Python is a plus
