Are you an experienced cross functional Project Manager with great leadership and communication skills? We are now looking for a Project manager to the Format Development team within Retail Space.

To meet our customers in an inspiring setting with a customer centric offer a new function called Retail Space has been established within the H&M Brand. Retail Space’s mission is to enable the transformation of our physical stores to a modern, relevant and unique shopping experience that drive sales and profit as well as builds the brand. Retail Space consists of the teams Format Development, Format Piloting, Space Management and Controlling. You will join a highly ambitious team with a great drive and mission to transform our physical stores.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the development of a specific store format by leading a cross functional team covering multiple areas (e.g. Assortment, Visual presentation, Operations, Interior & Layout, Communication and Services and Solutions meeting the shifts within retail such as different OMNI features). You will work with many different aspects of our core business to meet our future customer needs enabling H&M to take our stores to the next level. The Retail Space team work in a highly cross functional manner so you will work in collaboration with many other functions and stakeholders to be successful.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership and drive the development for H&M future stores
• Lead cross functional teams to set a sustainable and profitable long-term plan tied to our vision and strategy
• Lead the format development and test work focusing on a specific store format
• Enable and improve OMNI features for physical stores                    
• Secure roll out of formats through first store implementation, training and hand over

Your background and skills

• Previous experience within management positions and previous project managing roles, preferably tied to physical retail
• Proven track record from leading successful cross functional international teams
• Self-driven and take own initiatives without exact clear direction
• Highly skilled communicator and an ability to build relationships in an entrepreneurial setting
• Strategic approach and strong executing skills
