SCRIPT PRODUCER

…or the vanguard ghost-writer for our hosts

Description

We have a bold vision to arrange the largest TEDx-event ever. To succeed, we need the brightest minds - we need you! TEDxMalmö is looking for a passionate, creative and detail-oriented scriptwriter with a pedagogical and nurturing approach to storytelling that helps renowned speakers reach their fullest story-telling potential. As our Script Writer you will have the opportunity to meet, guide, assist and support the TEDxMalmö hosts in developing their remarks and introductions. You will, quite literally, introduce the ideas worth spreading!

We believe you are an individual with a flare for the English language and enjoy helping others develop their big ideas into concise scripts and unforgettable stories. You will help our hosts understand which ideas engage audiences, and help them edit and revise drafts in a timely manner.

In December 2020 (virtual), we will host another batch of great speakers that will touch upon all sorts of ideas worth spreading. Through the thematic lens: “The Future is Now”. This is your chance to meet and interact with stakeholders like event producers, sponsors, sponsorship managers, marketers, editors, video producers, digital nomads, vendors as well as the wonderful international network of TEDxMalmö volunteers. This is your chance to make things happen!

The role

Tasks

– Create and review scripts and presentation drafts for hosts with a focus on structure , brevity and purpose

– Set up expectations and a timeline with specific milestones for hosts and provide timely feedback

– Develop TedxMalmö’s script procedure and requirements

– Encourage hosts to rehearse and assist them with their presentation skills, as needed

– Help hosts feel nurtured and excited on the day of the event
