Role description

Habity, startup of the year finalist 2020, is a startup that is going to transform the housing market and we are now looking for a Software Engineer to join our tech team! Your responsibilities will cover the full range of designing and developing our product, including discussing new features with stakeholders, implementing them and improving and scaling our architecture. We build our infrastructure using cloud native microservices, written primarily in languages of the functional paradigm, preparing for massive scale while maintaining simplicity.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing (sometimes loose) requirements from stakeholders and transforming to robust clean code.

• Continuously improve our systems architecture for best efficiency. 

• Be a prestigeless team-player who believes that solid teamwork is the key to conquer.

• Be economically aware and manage resources with respect.

Experience

• 3+ years of software engineering (preferably with languages from the functional programming paradigm)

• Hands-on Amazon AWS experience. (Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, ES - are some of all the amazing stuff we have built upon).
