Description

We have a bold vision to arrange the largest TEDx-event ever! To succeed, we need the brightest minds - this means we need YOU! TEDxMalmö is looking for someone w ho can think quickly on their toes, holds a positive outlook on life, and can ‘read the room’, even in virtual contexts. We think you will be a confident, witty, and a team player but above all, an equitable human being who is excited about creating an amazing audience experience for our TEDxMalmö events. Your job is to help others sparkle!

At TedxMalmö, our audience members are equally as important to our event as the speakers, performers, sponsors and the team! We wish for our audience members to leave the virtual TedxMalmö event with an unforgettable experience and a sense of community. Our moderators have the exciting and challenging opportunity to directly impact the feel of the event.

In December 2020 (virtual), we will host another batch of great speakers that will touch upon all sorts of ideas worth spreading. Through the thematic lens: “The Future is Now”. This is your chance to meet and interact with stakeholders like event producers, sponsors, sponsorship managers, marketers, editors, video producers, digital nomads, vendors as well as the wonderful international network of TEDxMalmö volunteers. This is your chance to make things happen!

The role

Tasks

– Navigate, lead and manage discussions around our theme “The Future is Now”

– Consistently to work with other moderators to keep the tone of TEDxMalmö

– Get to know and be able to relate to a diverse audience on the day of the event

– Prepare questions, guidelines and activities for audience members

– Be knowledgeable about the speakers, their talks, and TedxMalmö’s culture
