Within the domain Assortment & Product Development – Sales Management you will have the chance to build new products, improve existing experiences and be a driver in transforming our tech landscape. As a Software Engineer you have the architectural end-to-end responsibility, from the sales data source to the business user interface, in the development of our new omni selling forecast tool for our merchandizers and controllers. The tool makes sales forecasts on SKU level in order to identify low and high sellers and proposes if product exposure or price should be adjusted. 

You would be a part of our new and fast-growing function Business Tech within H&M Group, which is linking the best of business and IT in an agile way. Responsibilities 
You will be a part of a small, but growing, agile product team of amazing professionals with great opportunity to impact a big organisation. You will be our first Software Engineer and therefore be a key role for the team. We work in a DevOps setting constantly developing and taking responsibility of running the product. You will play a leading role in technical development and architecture - helping the team with software quality and take personal ownership of the product you ship. Establishing a holistic view of how the solution adds value to the business. With the help from our tech community techSpot you can contribute, learn and spread the engineering and DevOps culture. 

Some of your daily work includes: 

• End-to-end responsibility of developing omni selling forecast product
• Map data sources together with our architects and continuously develop our product in PowerBI and Python
• Translate strategies and requirements into modern and scalable solution designs.
• Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative designs. 

As a Software Engineer at H&M Group we believe you have the ability to understand and analyze complex information as well as being able to communicate with others regardless of previous knowledge. You work proactively and continuously improve activities in a fast transforming environment, not afraid to roll up your sleeves. To do this, we think you have a curious mindset, excellent communication skills as well as:  

• Excellent programming skills in Python 
• Experience in Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience in Azure Data Warehouse and/or Azure Data Factory
