Power BI Developer to Portfolio Brands i Stockholm

The Customer and Business Intelligence team (CBI) within portfolio central team is supporting global growth for the brands within the H&M group (COS, & Other Stories, Weekday, Monki,& Arket). Portfolio brands are growing fast and the CBI team is therefore looking to expand with Power BI developer.

The Customer & Business Intelligence team within Portfolio brands is now looking for a Power BI Developer to take on this exciting challenge. Are you the one?

The job of an H&M Portfolio brands Power BI developer comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun! As a Power BI developer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with strong focus on democratizing data by creating Power BI dashboards, connecting different sources of data and maintaining the quality of the data. Your role is crucial for portfolio brands to get easy access to business intelligence so more time can be spent on analyzing the data than pulling data together.

You will work together with colleagues in central portfolio brand team, the H&M Power BI team and different functions within each portfolio brand. In cooperation with portfolio brands stakeholders, you will identify business needs, create data models from various systems into reports to make it easy to drive insight and actions for the less technical end-user.

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are to:

• Lead transformation from excel to Power BI, by creating and maintaining dashboards for the organization
• Identify business needs and create data models from various systems into reports
• Use advance level calculations on data sets and use DAX/SQL in order to visualize data
• Educate the portfolio brands in how to use the Power BI reports
• Responsible for quality of the data in the Power BI
• Stay current on trends and best practices in Power BI and customer analytics
• Collaborate with different teams within the company to exchange ideas and analyzes

To be successful in this role we see that you have:

• At least 1 year’s of experience within roles as Power BI developer, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Specialist or similar roles
• A higher education within business administration, engineering or statistics
• Strong experience and strong interest of learning Power BI
• Experience and knowledge in SQL
• Ability to communicate complex and large amount of data through effective visualizations and dashboarding
• Proven track record of and adapt in developing, publish and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements
• Understanding of the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources
• Experience and knowledge within Microsoft Azure, PolyBase, Visual Studio is meritorious
• Experience of integrating Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation is meritorious
