Department Manager - Eskilstuna Distribution Centre, Sweden

As one of two department Managers, you take ownership for your Group Leader team and operations within our Distribution Centre in Eskilstuna. Today the Distribution Centre delivers to all H&M stores in Sweden. In the near future we will increase the number of stores to approximately 250 since we will supply all H&M stores in Norway and Iceland as well.

Leading your team, you play a key part in ensuring the Distribution Centre delivers an efficient, quality service to our stores and customers.

Your main responsibilities:

• Follow up and analyse your department results in all relevant areas such as quality, efficiency and profitability, according to budget.
• Maximise profitability through a commercial, cost effective mindset and in collaboration with your team. 
• Increase profitability through working with operational best practice.
• Effective planning and organising of your team according to needs of the business.
• Ensure a highly reliable, sustainable and efficient Logistics operation with quality customer service and excellent garment care.
• Maintain a customer first mindset in everything you do.
•  Inspire motivate and promote effective teamwork.
•  Recruit, train and develop high performing teams.
•  Actively support and contribute towards the logistics goals
•  Follow all procedures and routines regarding safety, security and administration processes in all areas of the logistics centre.
• Collaborate in a proactive way with all of your colleagues.

This is a full-time position based in Eskilstuna and part of the Logistic Region North. As Department Manager you report directly to Head of Department manager.
