The Non Commercial Goods Development at H&M Group Expansion in Stockholm is responsible for developing NCG store interior, providing our customers globally with a shopping experience that makes us the most loved fashion brand in the world!

Jobbeskrivning

We are now looking for a Design Engineer that will work closely with our creative roles and several experts developing store interior in a sustainable, durable, functional and cost effective way according to our set goals.  As a Design Engineer you are involved in all phases of the product development process, constantly improving solutions and making sure we are working towards our goals.

As an Engineer you are responsible for developing interior products at NCG Development. You complete all technical drawings and needed assembly specifications, enabling a global store expansion in a sustainable way.  You are a key role in the development process where you work in close collaboration with designer / buyers and many other key functions, both internally and externally. You work with demands around functionality, sustainability, durability, expression and many more areas, securing that all demands are fulfilled.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Product development of store interior.
  • Quality assurance of store interior by evaluating and securing right quality with structured analysis.
  • 3D CAD modelling and creation of technical drawings.
  • Rendering of 3D models.
  • Contact with suppliers on a global market.
  • Responsible for managing projects or part of projects according to briefs.

Kravspecifikation

Your background and skills

  • Min. Bachelor degree within engineering.
  • Min. 3 years work experience within your graduation.
  • Expertise and experience around the development process from first idea to end of life.  
  • Knowledge and experience around several materials, surface treatments and production methods.
  • Sustainability knowledge in circular design, circular materials.
  • Experience from working in cross functional teams and projects.
  • Excellent knowledge in 3D CAD and PLM systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to travel according to business needs.

This is a temporary position (11 months) based in Stockholm.
