We are now looking for a Category Manager to join our Merchandising & Category team at Peak Performance. We believe the right person for the job is eager to make a difference, have a commercial mindset, a result-driven personality and is an excellent team player with a natural talent to work cross-functionally in many different forums. You are also a consumer insights lover, product expert and always up to date with the next trends out there.
As Category Manager at Peak Performance, you are responsible for a specific business area with a focus on creating and optimizing the assortment throughout its full lifecycle. From strategic planning and through the whole development process. This includes briefing and working closely with our design and production teams, as well as doing analysis and collecting consumer insights and feedback as soon as it hits the consumers.
You will set the strategic direction for the category securing sales budgeting, profitability, commercialism, innovation, assortment mix and distribution plan in line with our brand equity. The position is located at our HQ in Stockholm, and you will report to our Head of Merchandising.
Main Responsibilities:
Key activities are continuous sales analysis, follow up and actions based on product performance to maximize sales and profitability.
Be the commercial driver within the product development cross functional team of design and production securing consumer first focus in everything we do.
Strongly contribute to the NPD process– calendaring, ownership, process development and timely delivery.
Secure that the assortment building process is efficient and supported by the planning tools and systems in place.
Develop the role to make sure we always support the strategic direction.
