About us – your new teammates
The Electrical design teams exist within the complete Agile Release Train - ART ‘EI - Electrical Infrastructure’. These teams are responsible for the design and development of a vehicles electrical 'nervous' system. Our Electrical Distribution System (EDS) teams produce wiring harness designs based on the ED team’s delivery and continued close collaboration.

What you’ll do
A position is now available as an 1st Electrical Design Engineer to help us define and develop our future galvanic electrical structure. The electrical design engineer’s responsibility areas within our group are Comfort and Passive safety systems.

The job entails the integration of all electrical interfaces; balancing numerous requirements from Electrical performance, EMC and communication demands to architecture layout and mechanical integration demands.
 
The work includes, but is by no means limited to, the production of schematics of the electrical designs including over current protection devices (armaments). The team also performs validation of solutions to ensure that the requirements are testable and that the solutions work as intended. 
 
Working in a highly effective team you strive to continually develop yourself and the team; you contribute in developing new ways of working to be at the forefront of industry. 
 
Some of your main responsibilities
•    Initiate, lead and drive your part of the Electrical distribution needs to fulfill requirements
•    Perform investigations on subsystem and architecture level to reach reliability, cost and performance in the electrical system
•    Be part of team efforts to develop solutions across platforms

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for someone with a MSc / BSc in Electrical & Electronic engineering or Mechatronics and experience in system development process as well as Electrical Distribution System Development. You possess a high ability to assess different technical solutions. You have knowledge in Capital Design from Siemens/Mentor Graphic and experience. Knowledge and experience in Saber ESD, Saber simulation, Matlab amd Simulink is meritorious.

Personality is key! We are looking for a self-driven team player who has the ability to act with confidence and respect, to both co-workers and customers. You are articulate and able to present in a concise manner.

Finally, you are fluent in English, written and spoken, and have a valid Driver’s licence B.
