This is an ad for the Financial Reporting Operations group for applicants with various levels of experience and backgrounds, and we would like to hear from people with an interest in finance and accounting. A university degree is not a requirement. The Financial Reporting Operations group at Klarna is built of four teams acting as start-ups that are each responsible for their unique problem space, but are working together towards a mission of delivering robust financial operations that is scalable and enabled by technology. We are currently filling multiple positions. 

As part of the Financial Reporting Operations group you are likely to get an opportunity to:

• Contribute to the financial reporting process (daily, monthly, yearly)
• Reconcile systems to the underlying sources and develop methods and tools to provide analytical insight
• Be part of a controlling function that ensures correct handling of financial transactions
• Pro-actively and effectively communicate with various stakeholders and provide business support
• Drive improvements both on a process/routine level, as well as systems level, working closely with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be involved in one-off projects and initiatives – generally you should be ready to contribute across the business and provide structure and organisation wherever possible.

You should have:

• Applicable work experience in a high-pace environment and willingness to have a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities
• Previous experience in roles that require service skills and delivery towards short deadlines 
• Strong attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem solving
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

You might also have:

• Significant drive and ambition
• Hands-on experience in an enterprise system such as Basware or SAP
• Accounting experience is a strong plus
• Other professional qualifications and interest in areas such as analytics, project management, programming and technology are very welcome
