Job Description

This is what you will do

Central Procurement is a function at group level and is organized in four teams. Firstly, Operational Procurement, a team that are responsible for processing procurement transactions for indirect product and service categories. Secondly, the Souring Unit that negotiate supplier agreements for indirect procurement categories and support the business areas in Lantmännen with various sourcing services, trainings etc. Thirdly, the Category Management for the categories Travel, Marcom and Professional Services and fourth Procurement Analytics, responsible for the group processes and systems within procurement.

As Head of Central Procurement, you will be responsible to drive and develop the function including managing and supporting a team of 12 employees. You will secure that Central Procurement contributes to the overall business targets by realizing group wide synergies and maximizing the value. Lantmännen has a potential to further develop and improve its procurement processes and you will take an active role in improving the operational procurement for indirect material and services, focusing on quality, collaboration and cost efficiency, leading to a best practice P2P process that is clear and easy to follow.

Furthermore, you will assure that the function has competence and skills to offers sourcing support and services to the various procurement organizations in the entire Group. Together with your peers from the procurement functions within the group, you will take ownership and drive the Procurement 2030 agenda, be an active member of the Procurement Committee and to take ownership of the Central Procurement platform and the development of the next generation procurement analytics.

The position is full-time with location in Stockholm or Malmö. The number of travel days is periodically 1-2 travel days per week and the position reports to Group CFO.

Skills & Requirements

This is what you need to succeed

You have:

  • An academic degree, preferably a master's degree in engineering or in economics.
  • 8-10 years' experience of strategic, tactical and operational procurement from an organization with production and operations in an international setting.
  • A few years of experience from leading a team and driving change in a larger organization.
  • Great knowledge in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Interest in use of modern IT tools.
