What we are doing?
At the Volvo Cars Safety Centre, you will take part of driving the development of the Volvo Cars core value – Safety. Durability Structure Analysis is a product area within Safety Center, simulating vehicle strength and endurance to secure safety over time in our future cars. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated CAE engineer to strengthen our Road Load data team. The knowledge in this team enables us to understand how we can dimension the car to be durable and safe. The analyses you and your team perform will guide the designers in the product development, so we reach the attribute goals set for the product. The team works integrated in all project phases, from advanced engineering to vehicle production start, contributing with analysis and guidelines to improve the attributes of our cars.
What you will do?
As a developer and member of the Road Load Data team you will be part of an agile team, working closely together with your colleagues, the ScM (Scrum Master) and the PO (Product Owner). Part of your role will include to build virtual complete vehicle models in Adams car and deliver design loads. You will work in agile manner and in close collaboration with test engineers to support with data and analysis. Further, we expect you to take part in the development of methods, requirements, and technical solutions.
