About us

The High Voltage (HV) System Design team is part of propulsion strategy department. We work with the electrical propulsion system for the electric vehicles, and we are responsible for coordinating and balancing the interaction among HV components. The HV components include propulsion components such as traction batteries, electric machines, inverters and chargers. The development of the electric powertrains and the HV systems is very rapid, and we therefore handle new concepts for the HV system that requires systems engineering and coordination. The questions the team are working with includes electric power engineering and functionality. The HV system affects the car from software and EMI disturbances to the car’s mechanical design and driveline performance. This means that the team has a very central role and interacts with several other departments. Our team works cross-functionally within the electrical propulsion system in areas such as system design, electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

What´s in it for you?

As a Product Owner (PO), you are responsible for the decision on the HV system development needs based on the HV system as a part of the vehicle and the driveline. You maximize the value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the team backlog from a technical and business perspective. You work closely with the scrum master, the team, team manager, system architects and other stakeholders to plan, sync, lead and support the development of features and enablers of the backlog. Together with the team you refine the tasks and drive the definition of objectives, stories and acceptance criteria to create and release solutions and technology. You are empowered to accept stories as done and for signing off technical work products and deviations within the scope of the team.

As a Product Owner you make sure that the HV system in our electric vehicles is well balanced and contributes to the HV system and driveline attributes. An important task is to define the delimitations of the team responsibilities to other teams. You lead the work to define what the team is be able to do, and necessary tasks to get there. The technical delivery will at the end be approved by you.

You have a very high ability and a strong will to continuously learn and develop your skillset in high voltage systems.

You have a university degree within Electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
