We are now looking for an Operations Director with prior knowledge from an FMCG- or process industry to join Lantmännen Unibake Sweden. This is what you will do

As Operations Director for Unibake Sweden you will have a central position in the very heart of our company; the operations. You will be a part of the Swedish management team and your responsibility covers the operations for Unibake Sweden, consisting of production, maintenance, CI, quality, supply chain and procurement. You will lead and manage the operations team, making sure the day to day operations function contributes to the delivery of the business objectives.

Lantmännen Unibake is a global player with a broad range of well-established B2B and B2C brands e.g. Korvbrödsbagarn, Bonjour and Hatting. Our Swedish production sites are in Örebro, Mantorp and Huddinge and you are expected to drive and develop the implementation of the strategy in the Swedish operations, securing alignment and compliance to global Unibake standards. We are currently on a change journey where a lot of interesting initiatives are driven, and investments are made, creating an interesting opportunity for someone to be part of this and have direct impact on our future business.

In the role as you will have managerial responsibility of seven direct reports with belonging teams and you will work closely to these to drive performance and continuous improvements and to motivate and inspire the team, working towards operational excellence. You will also work in a cross-functional setting where close collaboration to the commercial teams, HR and our global organization and head-office is required.

For this position you could be located at the Lantmännen head office in Stockholm or at one of our Unibake office and production site in Örebro. Either way business traveling to our production sites, office in Stockholm as well as to the head office of Unibake International in Copenhagen is required. You will report to the Managing Director of Unibake Sweden.

This is what you need to succeed:

You have

• Extensive experience from a similar role as Operations Director or a senior management position within operations in an organization with multiple production sites. Preferably from an international group where you are used to take both local and group perspective into consideration.
• Prior experience in a regulated process industry including high quality standards.
• Experience from leading, empowering and developing other managers and driving change in a larger organization.
• An academic degree within engineering, supply chain or similar.
• Solid knowledge from production and optimizing cost efficiency in a manufacturing set-up.
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in both Swedish and English.
